Three new ISO certifications

Our ISO certifications within quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management strengthen our competitiveness in offshore wind projects in Northern Europe. The certifications are a natural part of our strategy, which focuses on offshore wind projects in Northern Europe.

With the certifications ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, Høj Nordic Marine Contractor documents its quality management within the areas of Quality Management (ISO 9001), Environmental Management (ISO 14001) as well as Occupational Health and Safety Management (ISO 45001). This is requested documentation on large offshore wind projects, where management documentation is a binding requirement to gain access to maritime construction projects.

The three ISO certifications document fixed procedures and solid processes. This provides assurance of stable and reliable quality, focus on climate footprint and not least stable operations. The certifications will help Høj Nordic Marine Contractor to stand even stronger in the Northern European market for offshore wind projects.

CEO Michael Normann explains about the certifications:

“There are high documentation requirements within offshore wind, so the certifications have been a completely natural part of our strategy. We can now document our serious work with processes, people and the environment. This gives our customers assurance of solid quality management, a good working environment and attests to our professionalism within environmental management. In this way, the three certifications document that, by virtue of solid management systems, we are a responsible company with control of our product, processes and employee conditions.”

All ISO certifications are verified in March 2026 by BUREAU VERITAS, a global leader in certifications.
